The Porkert works using the same principle as the Back to Basics. It is rugged in appearance, but the construction is basic and in our opinion it isn’t manufactured to the same standard as the Z-Star. The Porkert is tin-plated (juicing screen is stainless steel) and care must therefore be taken when drying to ensure it doesn’t rust.
