The Blueair HEPAsilent™ technology combines the best in electrostatic and filter technology. A revolutionary combination of advanced filter media and an encapsulated ion particle charging chamber makes it possible for the Blueair air purification system to achieve better results than either mechanical or electrostatic technology alone.

How it works
1. Air is drawn into the system via the ultra-quiet fan.
2. Airborne particles pass through an ion chamber and are electrically charged. This causes them to adhere effortlessly to the unique Blueair polypropylene filter medium.
3. Charged particles are removed in a 3-stage progressive filter. Stage 1 captures larger particles like pollen and dust. Stages 2 and 3 filter out even the smallest particles like cigarette smoke and exhaust. Together the encapsulated ion chamber and 3-stage filtration process combine to create Blueair’s patented HEPAsilent™ technology – delivering maximum airflow with minimum noise

3 Filters in 1
The progressive structure of the Blueair’s filters trap up to six times more dirt than filters in typical air purifiers. The three layers consist of millions of increasingly fine polypropylene fibres. The first layer captures particles like pollen and dust. The second and third capture smaller particles like bacteria and exhaust.

The design resists clogging and loading from increased operating speeds, so it continues to filter at peak performance levels for longer. Locked-in particles will not be re-released into your environment. The fibres do not absorb moisture so there is no risk of the mould or bacteria growth associated with absorbent filter media. Filter replacement couldn’t be simpler and they only need replacing twice a year. No tools are needed and it takes less than a minute. Blueair filters require no weekly additives or filter washing. The filters capture a revolutionary 99.97% of particles at 0.1 microns – on the lowest setting!

Near Silent Operation
Since air passes through the filters so easily, the fan doesn’t have to work as hard or as loud. The steel housing helps reduce noise even further and provides a contemporary and durable façade for the Blueair.

Easy and Economical
The Blueair needs no more effort than plugging it in and choosing a speed. It is so quiet on the low settings that you might wonder if it’s actually turned on. The powder coated steel housing easily wipes clean and even the most powerful unit uses less energy than a light bulb.

Clean Air Delivery Rate – CADR
