UK Juicers exists in order to promote health and well being through the supply of high quality juicing machines and other health-related products.
The enthusiasm underlying this basic desire to promote a healthier lifestyle for all is strongly founded in personal experience. After living on a reasonably average western diet all his life, doing very little exercise, and drinking generous amounts of alcohol while at university and thereafter, Nick Ledger was beset by a serious illness, Ulcerative Colitis. Nick eventually decided to try the holistic approach using juicing and diet. He followed the advice given in David Klein’s book Self-Healing Colitis and Crohn's. Nick is by no means your typical 'New Age Bean Freak', but an ordinary down to earth chap who went on a very steep learning curve brought about by illness. He had resistance to change, as do many people, but the illness and a persistent friend finally helped him overcome that resistance. The benefits of the changes then took over very quickly. Nick cites juicing as the most significant factor in his recovery from the illness, coupled with a natural approach to nutrition. Healing through proper nutrition is a widely known phenomenon, increasing rapidly in popularity in the 21st century.
At UK Juicers we believe that our approach to a healthy lifestyle is just as valuable to the generally healthy as it is to those suffering illness, because of the transformation it can bring about in vitality and well being.
